    Upon request, each hair treats distributor will be issued information to access and create a simple custom profile in the ht order portal. By using this hairtreats.com feature, distributors can select which hair treats products they would like to offer each one of their clients. This can include ALL hair treats products, or limit it to a select number of SKUS or SKU category. The distributor can also select and implement the Salon Cost they would like to charge for each product; this will be the only price visible to each salon/stylist.

    Once the distributor profile is complete, the distributor can then create custom profiles for each of their accounts, or can simply have one general account for all salons/stylists to link to the distributor profile; the distributor can have as many or as few salon/stylist account profiles as desired. hair treats bi-monthly promotions can also be linked to this/these profile(s) should the distributor request this from hair treats.

    With the custom account login information issued to the salon/stylist by the distributor, the salon/stylist can peruse this distributors’ selected hair treats offerings and order directly from the ht order portal. With this feature, the distributor does not need to hold any inventory or make any financial investment on inventory. This is extraordinarily beneficial for categories like extensions, for example, as this category would typically require a large spatial and financial investment on the distributor’s part in order to be able to house the complete product selection as multiple application systems in multiple colors adds up very fast! Salons/stylists can also view the product selection and place their orders from the convenience of the salon or from home.

    Safeguarding the client list is of paramount importance to distributors, so the ht order portal does not request any personal information to be entered by the salon/stylist. Because of the client profiles set by the distributor partnered with the drop-ship delivery policy of the ht order portal, no additional data is required in order to complete the transaction. This also includes the salon/stylist’s payment information. hair treats does not collect any payment directly from the distributor’s client.

    In their profile, the distributor can enter a series of drop-ship locations from which their clients may select as a pick-up location. hair treats suggests using the distributor store locations as delivery/pick-up destinations. Even the home addresses Distributor Sales Consultants are used as viable options for some distributors. As the salon/stylist is finalizing their order in the ht order portal, they can select from a menu of these pre-determined convenient drop-ship locations to decide from where they would like to collect their order.

    Once an order is placed by the salon/stylist, the distributor is notified via email of each order after checkout in the ht order portal. The distributor will receive the complete order details, as well as the client’s selected drop-ship location to ensure the location made aware or the delivery and is prepared to receive the order. hair treats will then process the order and ship the products to the desired location. The distributor will be responsible for billing the salon/stylist using whichever terms the distributor determines.

    As the ht order portal does not collect any information from the salon/stylist, including payment information, the distributor will billed directly every 2 weeks for any of their clients’ orders accumulated through the ht order portal over that period of time.
